Moving through a world that has already moved on, Chis Jenkins, is a lone traveller. Not much of civilization still exists, but he tries to be strong. Crippled by the memories of a love in what seems another life, he walks, haunted by the hope of his memories.
I have been "making movies" since the 5th grade. Since then I have practiced, studied, and excelled at filmmaking. The ambitions and equipment have changed, but the passion and energy hasn't. I draw inspiration from all facets of life, and am constantly inspired by the beauty of the natural world.
I pride myself on professionalism, organization, and teamwork. A true success is the sum of many great efforts, and only when a team is preforming at the highest level is this possible. I have extensive leadership training from the National Outdoor Leadership School and work well in a position of leadership or as a team member.
I have worked as a freelance filmmaker for five years; doing work for such as The American Civil Liberties Union of Massachusetts, Pomfret School, and Wilderness Ventures. A full list of these gigs can be provided upon request.
Working for Wilderness Ventures, I travelled across the Western United States filming outdoor activies such as backpacking, rock climbing, and kayaking in various remote back-country locations. They include: Yosemite National Park, Yellowstone National Park, John Muir National Monument, Gro Ventures Wilderness, Zion National Park, and Olympic National Park. You can check out all the videos I made on display here.
